Our Community: Network Associations
Below please find a partial list of the MFMI's growing network of groups working in poor and emerging markets to improve the competence of those delivering microfinance. The MFMI community, comprised of 55 training, consulting and academic organizations, is the largest single network of capacity-building providers in microfinance.
Since January 2007, the MFMI has enriched its network through
relationship development with microfinance networks with training capacity and other private training
organizations. This outreach builds on relationships initiated in 1998 with a small group of six
training organizations joining CGAP's Skills for Microfinance Managers training program. Today
the trainer group includes more than 20 microfinance networks and private training organizations.
