Below is a complete list of the MFMI's growing network of groups working in poor and emerging markets to improve the competence of those delivering microfinance. To search by country or type of organization, you can use the navigation options in the blue bar on the left. The MFMI community, comprised of 61 training, consulting and academic organizations, is the largest single network of capacity-building providers in microfinance.
The MFMI began its affiliation with developing country institutions in 2004.
Starting with six graduate management programs in 2004, the MFMI gradually has expanded its outreach to some 27 universities
and academic institutions in almost 20 developing countries. Since January 2007, the MFMI has enriched its network, fostering
affiliation with microfinance networks with training capacity and other private training organizations. CGAP initiated outreach
to trainers in 1998 when a small group of six training organizations joined CGAP's Skills for Microfinance Managers training
program. Today the MFMI trainer group includes more than 20 microfinance networks and private training organizations.
